Mine car play an important role in narrow-gauge railway transportation of bulk materials such as coal, ore and waste rock in mines. Generally, they must be hauled by locomotives or winches.
The coal mining car has the characteristics of simple structure, sturdiness and durability, low resistance, large carrying capacity, and convenient maintenance. The whole narrow gauge mine car body is turned over by the dumper when the mine car is unloaded. It is mainly used to transport coal, gangue, materials, etc. in coal mines and underground.
The coal mining car box is fixedly connected to the frame, and the cart must be turned over and unloaded with a cart tipper. Its basic composition is the carriage, the frame, the buffer, the coupling and the walking mechanism. The frame is a metal structure that can withstand traction, braking force, collision force between narrow gauge mine car, and rail impact. Buffers are installed at both ends of the frame to ease the impact between the two cars. The coupler is a part connecting the locomotive and the coal mining car. Commonly used are the bolt chain link and the rotary chain. The large mine car adopts the automatic coupler with the buffer function.
