Side dump mine car is suitable for transporting ore or other materials along underground tunnels and surface work sites in metal mines (or other mines with similar ore properties and mining methods) that are mined underground or on the ground. Compared with other bottom dump tramcars, this tramcar has smooth operation and small impact on electric locomotive and tractor, so its service life can be extended. The car is sturdy and durable, easy to maintain, and can be unloaded in both directions with high unloading speed.
The reasons for the damage to the frame of side dump mine car are as follows:
1. When two fully loaded mining trucks collide, the buffers at both ends of the frame directly transmit the impact force to the frame, which may cause the frame to bend and deform, and even cause the longitudinal beam (channel steel) to break.
2. The frame is connected to the buffer, trunk, and bearing bracket with rivets, which can easily loosen the rivets under vibration and impact working conditions. Under traction, these loose rivets gradually expand the rivet hole diameter, and during disassembly, the rivet hole expands to an oval shape (with the long axis in the direction of traction). Especially in the connection between the frame and the trunk, the expansion of the rivet L is more severe.
3. The frame is located at the bottom of the mining car, with poor working conditions and easy rusting, resulting in a thinning of the frame channel steel thickness and a decrease in strength, which is an important reason for exacerbating frame damage.
As the main mode of transportation for mining gangue, mine cars are prone to wear and deformation due to long-term loading and unloading of gangue and materials. If maintenance is not carried out in a timely manner, it can easily cause damage to the mining trucks and cause certain economic losses to the enterprise. Therefore, certain maintenance and upkeep are required.
The mine car manufacturer recommends regular maintenance: side dump mine car wheels should be filled with lubricating oil twice a year. At the same time, the mine should organize maintenance personnel to conduct a comprehensive inspection of each mining car wheel, and store the mining cars with damaged wheel sets, no bolts, and poor collisions in a centralized manner. Professional technical personnel should be organized for emergency repair. At the same time, personnel are also organized to strengthen the repair of the mining car skin in response to the phenomenon of car skin damage or open welding after a certain period of use.
